Der Dracola

Produced in Austria, Der Dracola is a cola soft drink introduced by Brauerei Murau. The product was launched as DraCola in October 2012, ahead of Halloween, as a standalone cola, separate from the brewery’s existing soft drink range.

Brauerei Murau is a cooperative brewery based in Murau, Styria. Alongside beer, the brewery has for decades maintained a line of soft drinks marketed under the Murelli name. This range has included flavors such as orange, raspberry, lemon, and a cola-mix.

At the end of 2017, the brewery carried out a comprehensive redesign of its soft drink portfolio, giving each soft drink flavour its own distinct logo. As part of this process, DraCola was visually redesigned and incorporated into the Murelli range under the name Der Dracola. The cola features Count Dracula sipping cola through a straw.
