Bob’s-Cola

Good for thirst! was the simple catchphrase of Bob’s-Cola.

Benjamin J. Frink from Atlanta, Georgia founded Bob’s Cola Company in 1940. During the war the production of the drinks happened in a kitchen and they were sold from a storefront shop in Atlanta.

In 1947 Bob’s Cola Company opened a state-of-the-art bottling plant and was now able to expand its business to all over the American Midwest and Southeast. Bob’s-Cola could be purchased as far away as Texas.

The business adventure did not last long, however. Benjamin Frink died in 1951 and in 1955 the company was sold. It is not clear when the last Bob’s-Cola was made.

There were never any Bob involved in Bob’s-Cola. Mr. Frink choose the name because it sounded friendly and everybody has an uncle named Bob.
