Bellö is a town in South Sweden and hometown to Stefan Falk who spent hundreds of hours in the kitchen of the local church hall experimenting with making his own cola. In the summer of 2017 he was ready to launch Bellö Cola.
Shortly after, in 2018, Stefan Falk was sued by the French soft drink manufacturer Bellot, who argued that the name of Bellö Cola was a little too close to theirs. The Swedish Intellectual Property Office rejected Bellot’s claim.
As one of very few colas this one contained extract from real kola nut.
The production of Bellö Cola seems to have stopped in 2019.
