River Cola

The supermarket chain ALDI has its own line of soft drinks under the River brand. River Cola was introduced in 1974 and there is not much to say about it other than that it tastes exactly like what you would expect from a discount cola.

ALDI was founded in Germany in 1946 and is now present in many European countries, as well as in the United States, Australia and China.

I have a 330 ml can (exp. December 2019) purchased at a Danish ALDI store. It was bottled by Bryggeriet Vestfyen who bottled River Cola for the Danish market indtil 2023 when ALDI withdrew from Denmark.
