Ukie Cola

Ukie Cola (Юкі кола) first surfaced in mid-2022, just months after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Though its exact producer isn’t confirmed, it appears to be locally bottled—possibly connected to domestic beverage networks.

Its name, “Ukie”, long a nickname for Ukrainians, took on a renewed sense of pride and resistance in 2022. Emblazoned with Ukrainian identity, Ukie Cola arrived as part of a wider wave of domestic alternatives to foreign goods, especially as Western soda giants faced distribution issues or backlash.

Much like locally brewed “Ukie” beers and patriotic snacks, this cola reflects a broader consumer trend: choosing Ukrainian not just for taste, but for meaning. It’s a soft drink—but also a quiet act of solidarity.

In a market flooded with global brands, Ukie Cola offers something else: a sip of sovereignty.

“I am Ukrainian!”, the label says.
