Colas from Rusnac-MoldAqua

Based in Gura Căinarului, Moldova, Rusnac-MoldAqua was founded in 1994 and has since grown into the country’s leading producer of bottled water and soft drinks. Along the way, the company has made several attempts at cola.

Their first experiment was Letto Cola, launched in 2008 as an addition to the existing Letto line of soft drinks. It was short-lived and disappeared after about a year, though the Letto brand itself continues.

In May 2013 the company made a more wholehearted attempt with New Cola, introduced as a stand-alone product and still on the market in 2025.

The latest addition is Baban de Cola, released in 2022 as part of the Baban series, which is notable for being sold exclusively in oversized 3-liter bottles.
