Labbaik Cola
The 12-year old Rayan Khurram was moved by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza in 2023 and decided he wanted to create a cola that could help. He began experimenting with recipes in his mom’s kitchen, sharing his progress on social media. As the likes and attention grew, his father, Iqbal Khurram, stepped in to support the project and helped launch full-scale production and distribution. In mid-2025 Labbaik Cola is available in select UK stores and restaurants.

Labbaik, meaning “here I am” in Arabic, was officially launched in the UK on July 1, 2024. The brand donates 10 % of profits to humanitarian aid in Gaza through partners such as Islamic Relief and Humans to Be. Promoted under the slogan “Freedom in every sip”, Labbaik Cola has gained strong visibility on TikTok and Instagram, with plans to expand to markets including the United States, South Africa, and Pakistan.
The cola contains only 4.5 g of sugar per 100 ml, which is about half the amount found in most colas on the market. Labbaik Cola is also sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame K.
Labbaik Cola joins a growing lineup of “Muslim” and ethically positioned colas launched in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. These include Salaam Cola (Ireland, 2023), Gaza Cola (England, 2023), Palestine Cola (Sweden, 2024) and Freedom Cola (Sweden, 2025).
