Küsten Cola

On March 1st, 2025, the Flensburger Brauerei from Flensburg, Germany, launched a new line of soft drinks under the name Küstenlimos (“Coastal Lemonades”). Inspired by the fresh, coastal spirit of northern Germany, the initial range includes Küsten Cola, Küsten Orange, and Küsten Cola-Mix.

Flensburger Brauerei was founded in 1888 in the northern German town of Flensburg. After World War II, the brewery resumed operations under British license. Unlike many competitors, Flensburger insisted on keeping its traditional swing-top bottles and built its brand around the distinctive “plop” sound made when opening them. This feature has become a key part of the brewery’s identity and marketing.
