Keli Cola

Keli Cola entered the Austrian market in November 2013, produced by ZF Getränke in Bad Gastein. The drink belongs to the Keli brand, first launched in 1960 and later passed through several owners before coming under ZF Getränke in 2017.

The story goes back to Linz in 1923, when a young Walter Kesterzanek began bottling soft drinks with swing-top closures. His son Emil took over in 1953 and quickly set his own mark on the business. In 1960 he introduced the name Ke-Li (a contraction of KEsterzanek and LInz), initially for pineapple and orange sodas. The brand name was soon simplified to Keli.

Over the decades the rights to Keli were sold several times, but the brand endured. Today ZF Getränke continues the line, with Keli Cola as a relatively recent addition to its range.
