Jones the Grocer Organic Cola

Jones the Grocer is a gourmet food concept with origins in Australia and current ownership ties to the United Arab Emirates. Its Organic Cola forms part of the company’s private label range and appears to have been introduced in or shortly before 2020. The earliest identified online reference to the cola is a Facebook post in April 2020.

Jones the Grocer was founded in Sydney in 1996 as a combined café, restaurant, and specialty grocery concept. The brand expanded internationally through franchising, with a significant presence in the Middle East. In 2016, UAE-based JTG Holdings acquired a majority stake in the company, after which the original Australian founders exited the ownership structure. Since 2021, JTG Holdings has held full ownership.

Its Australian heritage remains a core reference point in branding and marketing materials, however, and production of the Organic Cola continues to take place in Australia.
