IZE Cola and Cambodia Cola
Cambodia’s leading beverage producer, Khmer Beverages, entered the soft drink market in 2017 with the introduction of IZE Cola. The drink was part of a broader IZE series that also included orange and lemon variants, aimed squarely at providing a domestic alternative to international brands. Affordable and widely distributed, IZE quickly became a familiar companion to the ubiquitous street meals of Phnom Penh.

Founded in 2009 and fully Cambodian-owned, Khmer Beverages originally built its name on Cambodia Beer, which remains the country’s best-known lager. A major expansion in 2017 opened the door for diversification, adding products such as energy drinks, juices and the IZE line of carbonated soft drinks.
In 2024 Khmer Beverages introduced Cambodia Cola, this time as a stand-alone brand rather than part of the IZE family. It is marketed with a distinctly national tone — a “100 % Cambodian” cola inviting consumers to support local products. With slogans like “Fizz Up the Flavour of Joy” and messaging that emphasizes unity and pride, Cambodia Cola positions itself not merely as a beverage but as a statement of identity.
