Fukkokudō Cola

Released in February 2023 as part of DyDo DRINCO’s retro-themed Fukkokudō line, this cola stands out not only for its nostalgic American-style design but also for its exceptionally high sugar content. At 11.9 grams of sugar per 100 ml, it ranks among the most sugar-laden colas available. The drink is sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup.

The Fukkokudō (復刻堂) brand was introduced in 2021 and includes a range of drinks inspired by vintage Japanese beverage designs and flavors. The cola variant continues this tradition, aiming to evoke the look and taste of a bygone era while appealing to modern consumers drawn to retro aesthetics.

DyDo DRINCO is a subsidiary of DyDo Group Holdings, a company founded in Osaka in 1975. Best known for its canned coffee and vast network of vending machines across Japan, DyDo has expanded into teas, juices, functional drinks, and carbonated sodas. The group also has an international presence, notably through its ownership of Turkish brand Cola Turka via DyDo Turkey.

As of Summer 2025, Fukkokudō Cola is only available in Japan and has not been released in any flavor variants.
