American DRY Soda Co. from Seattle was founded in 2005 by Sharelle Klaus with the intention of making non-alcoholic beverages that would go well with food. She found that most soft drinks had too much sugar and too many artificial ingredients.

Over the years DRY Soda Co. have created many different organic drinks without all the bad stuff that is associated with soft drinks.

In the spring of 2018 Dry Soda Co. launched the DRY Zero Sugar line with four different flavors, one being cola.

The line was discontinued early in 2020.
