Cola des Sacres
When brewer Mathieu Aubert began selling craft beer from his food truck near Reims, he realized that there was little for children to drink while their parents enjoyed the brewery’s growing selection of beers. In 2017, he developed Cola des Sacres from his own recipe, adding a non-alcoholic alternative to the range.
His brewery Brasserie la Bouquine is based near Reims in northeastern France. The city is best known for Reims Cathedral, where French kings were crowned for centuries. The name Cola des Sacres refers to these coronation ceremonies (les sacres), reflecting the brewery’s inspiration from the history of Reims.
