Bony Cola

Production of carbonated soft drinks began at Bony in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1998, and Bony Cola was very likely part of the original lineup. No contemporary source found so far confirms the cola’s exact launch date, but by 2008 it was clearly no newcomer: Bony stated that its cola had “always” accounted for a very large share of the factory’s total sales.

Bony had started production on September 22, 1997, initially making syrups. Carbonated soft drinks followed in 1998.

Over the years, Bony has produced Bony Cola, Bony Cola Plus and Bony Cola Fresh. These were probably variants with different combinations of sweeteners.

The latest variant is Bony Cola Fresh, which is sweetened with both sugar and the sweeteners saccharin, cyclamate and acesulfame. The Fresh soft drink range also includes lemon, orange and mango.
