Biri Cola
The Brazilian Biri Cola originates from the city of Pelotas, located in the southernmost part of Brazil. It has been produced since 2001 by the company Biriba Indústria de Bebidas.
The company itself dates back to the 1940s, when it initially focused on producing alcoholic beverages like cane brandy. In the 1990s, new management took over and expanded the business to include beer production. Then, in 2001, the company began making soft drinks as well.
A Cola Zero variant has been available since 2017.
The Biri brand appears to be available only within the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
