Russian Promolyudi introduced the soft drink brand Lemonardo in 2020. Besides flavors like lemon and ginger beer, they also produce cherry cola and Choke Cola.

Choke Cola is based on the OpenCola recipe but without sugar and caffeine. Phosphoric acid have been replaced with lemon juice, and instead of caramel color they use chokeberry as dye – hence the name. The chokeberry gives the drink a distinct red color.
