South Korean Ilhwa Co. manufactures flavoring extracts, syrups, and powders for soft drinks. It was founded in 1971 and initially made extracts from ginseng for tea and other soft drinks.
In 2021 they introduced a new brand, brrr, including a cola and a cider.
The name is inspired by an onomatopoeia that describes the sound of the body shaking when drinking a cool carbonated drink.
Brrr Cola only comes in a zero sugar variant. However, they have later added a cherry cola to the brrr brand.
